Onsite Telephonic/ Field Nurse Case Manager (RN)

GENEX, a premier managed care company is currently seeking a Telephonic/ Field Nurse Case Manager (RN) to work onsite at our client location in Las Vegas, NV.

 

The primary role for this position includes Telephonic Case Management and some field travel with client to doctor appts.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for assessment, planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals involved in the medical case management process.  Works as an intermediary between carriers, attorneys, medical care providers, employers and employees to ensure appropriate and cost-effective healthcare services and a medically rehabilitated individual who is ready to return to an optimal level of work and functioning.

 

REQUIREMENTS: Diploma, Associates or Bachelors degree in nursing required. 2+ years clinical nursing experience required. Case Management and/or Workers? compensation-related experience preferred. Registered nurse with current, valid state licensure required. Other state licenses/certifications as required by law. Valid driver?s license required.  Must have excellent interpersonal skills, phone manners, and organizational skills.  Ability to set priorities and work independently is essential.  Computer literacy required.
