With private patient rooms, dedicated and compassionate nursing and support staff, and more than 500 highly qualified physicians on the medical staff is see, a Patient care Manager for the Labory and Delivery Unit.

 

The role: The Patient Care Manager will assume 24-hour fiscal, clinical and operational responsibility for his/her assigned areas incorporating the Hospital?s vision, goals, and long-range plan.  The Patient Care Manager works collaboratively with the Director and the Sr. Vice President for Patient Care to provide leadership, direction and management ensuring quality patient care services in their clinical areas.

 The Ideal Candidate : RN License, Unit specific certificationBS preferred.Physical Assessment Course preferred.Must possess the following skills:  organization, prioritization, negotiation, teaching, goal orientation, computer skills and interpersonal skills, which include the ability to be assertive when necessary.Must possess sound clinical judgment and critical thinking.Must have an excellent professional rapport with physicians and other departmental personnel.Previous management experience preferred.
