Practice Manager

The Practice Manager will independently provide on going management of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine practice locations. Will have the oversight of the day to day operations including medical billing.  Will assist the Director of Faculty Practice with the planning and development of the divisions practices. Manage all aspects of the Division's medical practices, which currently include the Fetal Evaluation Units at both Hospitals and the prenatal practice at Roosevelt Hospital.  Oversee daily activities. Delegate and distribute workloads. Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage.  Assure satisfactory completion of all assigned projects. Bachelor?s Degree required. Five years of supervisory and administrative experience in multi-physician practice environment.  Knowledge of accounting, computerized medical billing, CPT and ICD-9 coding required.  Knowledge of medical terminology, managed care organizations and third party reimbursements essential.
