Pre-Op /PACU Nurse

Position Summary:?

As a Pre-Op/PACU nurse at our facility, you have the opportunity to enjoy no calls, no weekends and no holidays.? Under the direction supervision of the Pre-Op/PACU manager, the pre-op nurse is responsible for implementing the Pre-Operative record, nursing plan and the assimilation of the patients surgery record.? The PACU nurse is also responsible for implementing all physician orders, providing for the continuity of nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patients condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.???

Requirements:

Must possess a current license to practice as an RN in the state of Texas.

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a PACU or ICU setting. Skills and knowledge necessary to provide care to patients.

CPR certification,ACLS certification and PALS preferred.
