This positions is located at Beth Israel Medical Center. Beth Israel Medical Center is a 1,368-bed, full-service tertiary teaching hospital that was founded on Manhattan's Lower East Side before the turn of the 20th century. Beth Israel originally was dedicated to serving a vulnerable population in that community. Now a century later, the Medical Center serves individuals and families from every walk of life throughout New York City and beyond.

 

Opportunity:

Program Manager ? Inpatient Rehab Services

This positions is responsible  for the clinical and administrative supervision of 20 therapists and support staff. The selected candidate will act as a liaison with medical and nursing staff, as well as manage the quality improvement program and annual budget.

 

Requirements:

Qualified candidates will have a NY State Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy license, 5 years of clinical experience in treating adults with physical disabilities, 2 years of supervisory experience, and working knowledge of the IRF-PPS system.
