The Project Coordinator of the New Graduate Nurse Residency Program

Reports to the Director of Nursing Professional Practice Development
Coordinates the overall operation of the project
Curriculum coordinator
Oversees the implementation of project activities
Determine applicants have met requirements for
admission to the residency program
Plan and schedule didactic content
Track residents progress and measure outcomes
Serves as a mentor to all residents within the program
Coordinates with other education specialists, nurse managers, affiliate faculty, guest faculty
Develops educational material
Provides inservice and training
Conducts meetings
Design and directs the gathering, tabulating and interpreting of required data
Oversees overall program evaluation activities
Provides monthly reports to Nursing Leadership
Provides quarterly reports to Oversight Committee

Requirements:

Requirements:
Credentials-
Master's Degree in Nursing with concentration in education
RI RN license
Experience-
3 years relevant clinical experience
3 years relevant educational experience
Progressive experience working with new RN graduates or seniors, baccalaureate student RNs
