Intensive Treatment Unit


 


Our intensive treatment Program is a 24-bed- closed unit that offers a safe, secure  and highly structured environment for those who are seriously ill with psychiatric disorder. Nursing staff on this unit see a mutlidisciplnary approach to develop individualized treatment plans for patients with a board spectrum of pychiatric diagnois. Position available for part-time evening (3pm-11pm) Registered Nurse.


 


The RN is a registered professional nurse who is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age specific groups. Utilizing the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department.  Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.


 


Knowledge and Skill Required:


Basic Life Support


 


Preferred Knowledge and Skills:


ACLS


 


Education Required:


Graduate of a school of nursing.


 


Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:


Current registration with Florida State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse or actively seeking reciprocity from another state.
