The Outer Banks has long been a thriving resort community as a vacation, surfing and fishing destination for approximately 250,000 visitors each summer, with a year round population of 32,000 residents in Dare County.  As the community grows, so do the healthcare needs.  The Outer Banks Hospital opened its doors in the spring of 2002.  We offer the latest advances in healthcare and technology and build on our relationships with Chesapeake Health and University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina.  The opportunity to work and grow, both personally and professionally is as unlimited and as constant as the surf that runs to meet our shores.

Quality Outcomes Coordinator

Coordinates the development and implementation of quality projects, programs and initiatives;  Monitors  progress towards tarrgeted outcomes and assists with developing action plans; Collaborates effectively with all OBH staff and physicians; Ensures compliance with accrediting agencies; Serves as a change agent and a resources for all departments and quality initiatives.

 

NC RN license required.  Bachelor?s Degree with major in Nursing, Education, or other Healthcare related degree preferred.  Masters Degree preferred. Several years of leadership and or healthcare quality strongly preferred.
