JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the day-to- day management of Field Case Managers within assigned area by providing training, coaching and mentoring to Field Case Managers and by ensuring quality and cost effectiveness of delivered services.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary Functions:
Case Planning / Monitoring 20%:
o Strategize with Field Case Management staff to provide meaningful activity and direction on files to attain quality goals/outcomes and drive revenue
o May provide marketing and customer service functions including account management, responses to complaints and concerns, analysis of customer reports, sales presentations and recommendations for improving results
' Budgeting 5%
o Assists the Director of Operations in budget processing/development ensuring financial resources are maximally utilized for assigned region
' Staff Development 70%
o Responsible for identifying, hiring, and directing Case Managers. Provides resources for staff with respect to providing quality, cost effective, proactive management
o Trains new CMS, including assisting in orientation and subsequent mentoring, and reviews reports until CM has demonstrate competency sufficient to transition to the QAM
o Continuously plans for the growth and development of a professional, knowledgeable Case Management staff through staff development and in-service training
o Organize resources to create the most effective and productive work units possible
o Responsible for ensuring low employee turnover, high employee morale and sense of community
o Monitors production and quality of performance against standards to assure optimal service delivery and accurate statistical data and reports
o Implements appropriate corrective action as necessary
o Evaluates services provided by the CMS to maximum outcomes for injured workers and referral sources
o Conducts timely performance evaluations in conjunctions with the QAM
o Continuously assess the staff's abilities to determine the appropriate situational leadership style necessary for the individual's growth and development

o Ensures delivery of quality services consistent with customers requirements and operating objectives by working with the QAM to optimize quality, effectiveness and effectiveness and efficiency of services provided by the CM
o Maintain awareness of market opportunities and take appropriate actions for the growth of business
o Implements actions regarding new policies, procedures, and programs to ensure continual improvements in effectiveness, quality, results, profitability, product, and efficiency of operation
o Practices exemplary customer service on daily basis, illustrating positive outcomes to the referral source demonstrating by example to staff the important of valuing service to the internal and external customer
SCOPE:
' Responsible for 16-22 Field Case Managers
' Responsible for revenue of $2.5-3 million

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:
' RN with 4-6 years experience
' CRC,CDMS, CRRN,CCM. One of the aforementioned certifications must be attained within three years of accepting the role of Regional Manager
JOB RELAVENT EXPERIENCE:
' 3- 5 years experience including supervisory experience
JOB-RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
' Working knowledge of the principles and practices of workers compensation and disability administration including cost containment services, insurance coverage, managed care, fiscal management and government regulations
' Maintains expert knowledge of product lines. Effectively utilizes all technological and automation tools provided by the corporation
