It's a new day at Merrimack Valley Hospital. Our vision for the valley is to build regional reputation for providing exceptional patient care and state-of-the-art medical services: one employee, one physician, and one patient - one day at a time.

 

We are delivering on our promise. The hospital added new employees, physicians, and services. We purchased new cutting edge medical equipment and emergency management software, and completed a $3.3 million dollar renovation project to vastly improve our Outpatient Services division. And, in 2005, we will begin construction on a new 85,000 square foot medical office building adjacent to the hospital. We are committed to you and your good health.

 

Merrimack Valley Hospital maintains 108 acute care beds, 15 transitional care beds, and 17 adult behavioral medicine beds. All are private rooms. The hospital features many clinical strengths, including an award winning emergency department, orthopedic, endoscopic and general surgery, oncology, adult behavioral medicine care with a focus on geriatric issues, and transitional care. We also provide a wide range of outpatient services, including surgical day services, x-rays, MRI exams, PET-Scans, CT-Scans, mammography, bone density testing, dysphasia testing, nuclear medicine, physical therapy, and occupational health services.

 

REGISTERED NURSE


Plans and implements nursing interventions, including all appropriate elements of nursing care, prescribed medical or other therapeutic regimes mandated by the particular situation, scientific principles, recent advancements and current knowledge in the field.  The RN will formulate nursing care plan and set  realistic patient goals together with patient/family.  Establish nursing orders, evaluate patient?s expected outcome and response, coordinates therapeutic regimes, utilize accepted patient care standards

*Adult Psych  24 hours 3p-11p
*Operating Room:  FA, Circulator & Scrub
*Ambulatory Care: Charge Nurse, days
*ED 36/40 and 24 hours
*TCU 24 hours days
*Infection control

 

36/40 paid packages.  Medical, dental, 401-K,  and tuition reimbursement.
