Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, delivering and evaluating nursing care. Assumes the leadership role on the unit in determining priorities and supervising, guiding and directing other nursing associates in the delivery of care. Demonstrates sound clinical judgment in assessing and observing patients, interpreting signs and symptoms and in initiating appropriate action and intervention. Provides educational opportunities to patients, families and other health care associates.

Qualifications
1. Current Iowa RN license.
2. Previous similar unit experience preferred.
3. Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
