RN - Adult Day Health Care

The R.N is responsible and accountable for the individuals that are admitted to the ADHC program. This position provides initial assessments, on-going daily and monthly review of needs as required by regulations and medication assistance. Ensures that care is appropriate thru the CNA para-professional by providing skill building through the nursing process. Demonstrates competency in concise and accurate documentation, and assessments that evaluate the vital health of the patients of ADHC. This position coordinates and communicates to primary care providers and family, as required by ADHC regulations, the department policies and the network policies. Demonstrates good skills in the working with the geriatric population. -Assists with daily dispensing of medications at the Lincoln Learning Center. Requires current AZ or other compact state RN license, ACLS, BCLS, and First Aid. Food Handler's card and AZ Fingerprint Clearance card required or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
