Medline?s Personal Care Division has an immediate opening for a Clinical Nurse Educator.  We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working nursing professional with a solid education and an extensive clinical background.  The Clinical Nurse Educator will provide professional expertise on Medline's urology product line to hospitals and nursing homes.  This is a prominent position within a fast-paced, corporate organization.  In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a take charge attitude.



The challenging responsibilities of the position include:


Identify problem areas and recommends changes and solutions




Evaluates policies and procedures related to patient care in a specialty area




May visit patients and discuss specific problems with assigned nurses and physicians




Participates with development, revision, and implementation of patient education programs, materials, and resources in specialty area




Provides, coordinates and teaches workshops and classes in Personal Care products




Studies changes in specialty area and seeks additional knowledge on unusual problems and conditions, new treatments and medications




Demonstrates quality nursing care, problem solving skills, effective use of resources, collaboration with other health professionals, and professional standards




Represents the Personal Care Division by making presentations and participating in forums, committees, and professional associations

REQUIREMENTS




Bachelor?s degree, BSN preferred




Minimum of 5 years experience in direct bedside/clinical nursing required




Previous experience with incontinence products highly desired




Ability to present well and educate the customers as well as the sales organization




Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and  follow-up skills required




Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel required




Current nursing license required




Ability to travel up to 75%
