*** RN-Clinical Educator RN New Grad Coord. [ 8688 ]***

Provides education and staff development functions such as planning and implementing New Graduate orientation, ongoing clinical in-service education and professional development experiences. Maintains and assists New Graduates with active communication among medical staff, interdepartmental staff and within the organization.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Bachelor's Degree required, Masters degree in Nursing or Education preferred

Three years relevant nursing experience

Two years previous formal education activities preferred

Certification in area of practice preferred

In addition to the responsibilities described above, the role may include such other responsibilities and duties as assigned from time to time, based upon Exempla needs or requirements. In addition, 50% of time will be on evenings or night shifts.

Current license to practice nursing in the State of Colorado

Basic Life Support certification (required)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (preferred)

I. Involves an inherent potential for mucous membrane or skin contact with blood, body fluids or tissues, or a potential for spills or splashes of them. (Use of appropriate protective measures is required for every employee engaged in Category I tasks).
