Job Responsibilities: As Diabetes Nurse Clinician, you will provide inpatient and outpatient instruction, behavior change goal setting and emotional support to hospital inpatients. You will enjoy state-of-the-art educational materials and diabetes management tools to enable the patients to accomplish improved health status goals. You and the other members of the interdisciplinary team will work with the hospital nursing staff and the medical staff to provide training and education in the latest diabetes management standards, enabling them to provide cutting edge diabetes care.

Qualifications & Experience: Requires current TN State RN license, Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and a minimum 1-2 years recent clinical experience. Must be Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE). A minimum of 2 years medical-surgical, cardiac, critical care nursing experience desired; recent diabetes management experience essential. Case management skills preferred. Location: Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN
