JOB DETAILS: PayGrade: 144, Scheduled hours per week: 40.00, Begin and end Times: 8-5; Days of work: M-F
SUMMARY:
Provides primary patient care and education to the ostomy patient using the nursing process in a therapeutic and educational manner. Serves as consultant, educator to the hospital staff in the care of patients with ostomies, wounds, skin breakdown, draining tube sites and incontinence. Provides clinical experience, expertise and product knowledge.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Graduate of accredited school of nursing and an accredited school of Enterstomal Therapy. Current RN licensure in state of Ohio.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of product availability and application for ostomy, wound, skin and incontinence, etc. Knowledge of specialty bed and other support surfaces.
KIND and LENGTH of EXPERIENCE
2 yrs general nursing experience.
