INTENSIVE CARE NURSERY

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Provides and coordinates nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership when working with other health team members to establish and maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the Intensive Care Nursery, Normal Nursery, Post Partum/GYN, and float to Peds.
Participates in unit-based shared leadership activities that improve the quality of care provided to patients and enhance the work environment.

Qualifications
Current RN license for the state of Iowa or Compact State of residence.
BCLS
Prefer 1 year RN experience, will consider select new graduates.
Must be able to lift 40 lbs independently and work with larger amounts of weight with assistance. There is prolonged walking and standing with repeated bending, stooping and squatting needed in this position.
