RN Nurse Consultant for Long Term Care

This exciting, challenging position will cover our long-term care skilled nursing facilities throughout the Fresno, California Region.  This position will provide extensive clinical consultation, training, analysis and advice to clinical staff in assigned facilities within the defined territory.

Performs standardized facility visits to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations and Company policy and procedures.

Monitors, consults, and makes effective recommendations for modifications to existing facility processes, systems, policies and practices which assure efficient, effective and compliant performance.

Develops action plans and assists facility management in overseeing implementation.

Qualified applicants will have the following qualifications:


*Current RN license in the state of Arkansas

*3-5 years of clinical leadership experience in a long-term care skilled nursing setting with multi-facility consultation and-or management preferred

*Current knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare and other case mix payment systems

*Understanding of clinical management systems including business systems, budgets and resource management

*Must have a good working knowledge of the RAI process

*Competency in current clinical software system

*Understanding of clinical issues related to patient liability losses and risk management

*Able and willing to travel extensively and work on-site in facilities
