We are seeking a RN to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day activities performed by nursing assistants. -Essential Job Functions- RN works closely with interdisciplinary team members to provide a safe, positive, and comforting environment for both residents and staff. Supervises performance of assigned staff and directs the daily operations of the unit. REQUIREMENTS Required Experience: Must have a thorough working knowledge of nursing techniques and practices. Training is offered for career advancement. Recent experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing preferred, but not required. Required Education: Applicants must be licensed as a Registered Nursing in the state where the person will practice. We are seeking a Resident Care Manager (RCM) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day activities performed by nursing assistants. -Essential Job Functions- RCM must evaluate and assess residents' needs, including physical and mental health, family and community resources, physical environment and finances. A plan of care for residents will be developed by RCM based on a close assessment of residents requirements. Arrangements need to be made to implement that plan. Once these arrangements are in place, the RCM can coordinate all services to insure the resident's health, safety and general well being. Often, there needs to be a continuous monitoring and periodic reevaluation to make changes as needed.
