RN Supervisor - Nights

Texas Specialty Hospital at Dallas, a 66 bed JCAHO accredited acute care hospital  is searching for  a dynamic RN Supervisor for our night shift (flexible scheduling ? 12 hour shifts). Responsibilities: (summary)

Works under direct supervision using the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, Company Standards, Practice Guidelines and nursing judgment.

Responsible for the supervision of RN?s, LVNs and CNA's on assigned shift

Collects patient data, makes observations and reports pertinent information related to the care of the patient.

 

Qualifications

Ideal candidate must be a caring individual dedicated to providing high quality care to patients in the care of  our hospital

Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN in the state of Texas.

1-2 years experience as House Supervisor

2-3 years experience in Med/Surg or ICU

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English Language

Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required.

Must be able to relate information concerning a resident?s condition.

Must be CPR  and ACLS certified
