Position Description:

Join our team of nursing professionals! Fairview Care Center of Papermill Road is a 129 bed Long Term Care facility located in Glenside, off of Route 309. We are looking for an RN for 7-3 on the weekends. In this position you will be eligible for tuition assistance ($5250 per year, paid directly to the school of your choice), 401K with match, paid vacation, and so much more!

The job description for this position is as follows:

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the incumbent utilizes a general understanding of the principles of nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development of and implementation of individualized nursing care plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. He/she assists in the orientation of and supervision of nursing personnel, attends to the daily operations of the unit on a per shift, unit level, and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.

Qualifications:

This position requires a current Registered Nurse license issued in the state where the person will practice, and the candidate must be a graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
Up-to-date physical assessment skills and comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles are also required.
Recent experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing and experience in supervisory capacity are preferred.
