Registered Nurse I

Central Blood Bank has an immediate opening for a Registered Nurse who is seeking a new challenging career.  The successful candidate will perform daily audits of our Donor Registration forms. Candidate must have superior attention to detail for they will be responsible for reviewing/resolving any duplicate donor records, and working with other possible discrepancies on the donor records.  The RN will also be responsible for providing information to our donors and staff by telephone so great customer service skills are required.  Monthly statistical reports and quality assurance monitoring is also a responsibility of this position.  This position also requires the ability to multitask and complete all tasks in an efficient manner.  Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Nursing is required.  Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Nursing is required.  3 to 5 years of experience in blood banking or blood collections is preferred.  This position is Full Time, Daylight 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with rotating weekends and holidays.
