Responsible for providing case management services to assist individuals in reaching pre-injury level of function and/or maximum medical improvement. Activities include but are not limited to coordination of medical care, vocational exploration, counseling, and placement.


Meets with clients in their homes; physicians, therapists, or attorney offices; and/or work sites to provide on-going case management services.

Conducts on-site job analysis of client pre-injury position as part of a three-point initial assessment as well as other positions requiring analysis as part of casework.

Communicates both in person and by telephone with clients, medical providers, attorneys, employers, insurance carriers, etc.

Prepare reports and other required paperwork as documentation of all casework activities at a consistently high standard and in a timely manner.

Understands and applies all special instructions required by individual insurance carriers and referral sources.

Understand and applies all laws and regulations which apply to the provision of rehabilitation services.

Testifies if called to do so, to substantiate any casework or reports that may be seen as relevant in hearings involving client.
