Clinical One Per Diem specializes in finding you flexible, short-term assignments in certain local areas. Per Diem shifts are ideal for individuals interested in working day to day assignments and short-term contracts (1 to 13 weeks) in their local area.

 

Clinical One Per Diem is currently seeking an RN, LPN, or CMA that has experience in hands-on surgical nursing, wound care, surgical assisting using sterile field, and other surgical offices procedures.

Need someone ASAP for approximately a 12 week assignment. Hours are Monday-Friday 9-5p.m. (sometimes 8:30 if procedure scheduled)

Areas of responsibility to include:

Set-up, procedure assist and clean-up
Prepare specimens for transport to Lab, track and report
Dressings, suture removal, vital signs, ace wrap of legs
Patient education as appropriate to the condition
Nursing assessment of new and returning patients
Contact VNA's to arrange for patient home-care and dressings
Prescription tracking according to protocols
Call patients regarding post-ops status
Clean, sterilize and maintain instruments and surgical equipment
Inventory, purge and order medical supplies
Inventory and maintain pharmaceutical supplies-samples
Remove and apply Unnas Boots
Manage clinical patient phone calls
Observe OSHA compliance and HIPAA Regulations
