Our serene, patient-centered environment offers a balanced, spiritual setting consistent with our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.

Despite seven Central Florida hospitals ranging from 40 to 900 beds and always expanding, Florida Hospital continues to maintain the small community hospital culture that nurses love. Our critical care units are areas where you can demonstrate your skill and compassion within the supportive and caring environment that Florida Hospital provides. The hospital supports nearly 600 critical care beds throughout all of the campuses, which allows our critical care nurses a variety of specialized units to work on. These units are range from ICU to PCU units that are specialized in cardiac, multi-system and much more. Florida Hospital is one of the nation?s top hospitals for nurses because of our specialties, come see why!

Our Multi-System Progressive Care Units in our flagship hospital-Orlando- are currently recruiting the best RN?s for a variety of shifts on their very special units. Our ideal candidates are looking for professional growth, personal satisfaction and have a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of their patients and co-workers.

With 39 private beds on each unit, all patients are on a 24 hours remote telemetry. The diagnosis may include but are not limited to the following: anemia, chest pain, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cerebral vascular accident, drug overdose, pneumonia, syncope, vascular insufficiencies, and various post-ops. We will be caring for patients post surgical and interventional procedures of Carotid and peripheral vascular disease. In addition, there will be some Neuro patients on this unit at times. The nurse to patient ratio is 4:1 with assistance from patient care technicians. There is an assistant nurse manager or charge nurse available for each shift. The unit also has a trained monitor technician 24 hours a day and health unit coordinators to complete orders and answer phones for the nursing staff.

Minimum 1 year recent progressive/critical care experience required, for Multisystem specialty unit.
Multi-System and strong vascular experience. Must have a FL RN License or the ability to obtain one.

Located in downtown Orlando, Florida Hospital Orlando is the main Florida Hospital campus in Central Florida and uses the latest technology to treat more than 32,000 inpatients and 53,600 outpatients annually. This 882-bed, acute-care community hospital also serves as a major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America.
