Rehab Liaison-Nurse Marketer

Job Purpose:

To evaluate for pre-admission assessment of all patients referred to the hospital and/or any clinic affiliated with the hospital.  The position is responsible for developing census as defined through targeted goals of the business plan.  The Rehab Liaison is a valuable member of the Business Development Team related to knowledge of all referring agencies, physicians, and competition.  This position must assist with the coordination of referral to admission conversion process.  Responsible for marketing in the target market area to increase referrals for admission.

 

Skills/Qualifications:Current RN licensure in Alabama or the ability to obtain Alabama licensure.Current State driver's license in good standingAcute medical surgical experience, critical care, rehabilitation, insurance, and marketing experience preferred.Good assessment skills to complete pre-admission screening of all patients referred to the facilityAbility to professionally represent the hospital.Possess knowledge and capacity for public relations skills.Capable of working under minimal supervision.
