Saint Francis is a fully accredited community based hospital, with 359 licensed beds. The hospital boasts a staff of over 500 physicians with more than 70 percent holding teaching appointments at medical schools, colleges and universities.

We have immediate need for a Staff Nurse for our Cancer Care (Medical Acute) or Oncology unit.

Positions available mostly full time, (no per diems for now.)

Shifts: Nights and Evenings.

Hours: 8hrs

JOB SUMMARY:
The Registered Nurse or Staff Nurse is responsible for direct and indirect delivery of patient care for a wide variety of patient population through the use of the nursing process and maintenance of the standards of professional nursing practice. The Registered Nurse promotes compliance and support of policies and achieves trust in professional collegial relationships.

LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION:

-1 year plus direct work experience in Cancer Care (Medical Acute) or Oncology, highly desirable.


-Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California, required.


-Position require current certification in BLS or CPR.


-Specialty certification is encouraged and preferred.

Salary commensurate with experience.
