The Cardiac Cath Lab at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta provides two cardiac catheterization laboratories and a fully equipped procedures room. These laboratories in the Sibley Heart Center are equipped to provide detailed angulated views necessary to diagnose and treat pediatric patients. Pediatric cardiologists perform the catheterization and interpret the findings while working with a team of specially trained nurses and technicians. With more than 1,700 cardiac catheterizations and procedures performed in 2004, it is one of the busiest catheterization laboratories in the United States. The pre- and post-recovery area provides a homelike atmosphere within a high-tech environment.

 

Staff Nurse Opportunities Available

Part Time, Monday - Friday day shift

 

The Staff Nurse participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive patient care services and proactively supports the efforts that will ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and to promote a safe environment.

 

 

Qualifications:Current license in the state of Georgia as a Registered Nurse Graduation from an approved Diploma or Associate?s Degree program Bachelor?s Degree is preferred Previous pediatric experience preferred Intensive Care or Cardiac experience preferred BLS certification is required Basic computer skills required
