The OnSite Services (OnSite) business unit has an immediate opening for a qualified individual to join a rapidly growing business as a Service Technician in our Midwest region.

The OnSite Services business unit is a subsidiary of Cardinal that repairs, maintains and manages instrumentation and equipment in hospitals, national repair centers, and other healthcare delivery organizations. Repairs consist of general and specialty instrumentation, containers, rigid and flexible endoscopes, power tools, related accessories and equipment. Additionally, OnSite provides a customized procedure based instrument management program, which helps to improve operational performance, increases physician and staff satisfaction and reduces cost.

Service Technicians are responsible for the daily processing and management of surgical instruments including: instrument inspection, preventative maintenance and repair/replacement processing; instrument & set reassembly; instrument set transport and retrieval; and inventory maintenance. They will provide strong customer service support while having extensive OR exposure for coordination and problem solving.

This position is based at our client hospitals in Maywood, IL.

To qualify, you must be able to work well with others and possess excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills. They must be adaptable & flexible to work hours. Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile processing, instrument management, and OR logistics and scheduling are all preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is necessary.
