We are seeking a talented Training Specialist to orient our newly hired nurses, as well as providing ongoing training for current employees. Primary responsibilities include:
Conducting new-hire orientation and nursing staff training
Following up with hiring managers to determine success and effectiveness
Strategizing with leadership team to determine training topics
Cross-training tenured employees
Preparing monthly meetings for nationwide groups
Traveling to other Optum sites 



This role requires prior training experience (ideally in a clinical/healthcare setting or corporate environment), as well as group presentation experience. RNs are strongly preferred. A background in case management is a plus. Computer proficiency is a must.
