TeamHealth is one of the nation?s largest and most respected hospital-based physician practice management companies.? We contract with hospitals nationwide to provide physician and related services in hospital departments, including emergency medicine, radiology and hospitalist services.

TeamHealth has a unique opportunity for an assertive, dynamic professional registered nurse.? This position will be based out of Atlanta, Georgia. ?This position serves as the liaison between the client hospital and the affiliate office.? The RVP is responsible for operational performance of the emergency department and hospital medicine contracts in their assigned region.? The Regional Vice President?s specific focus is to support the facility?s medical directors and nurse managers to ensure client expectations and those of the affiliate are achieved. ?

Routinely makes site visits to client hospitals and participates in hospital meetings as requested. This position works closely with the site Medical Director and emergency department Nurse Manager to achieve optimal performance metrics in the emergency department, including patient satisfaction, patient throughput, LWOTs and core measures.? Works with the site Medical Director to ensure all physicians are trained and are properly oriented to the new facility.? Regularly communicates with the affiliate CFO to ensure the exchange of census/billing and contract revenue information is accurate and timely.?

Position requirements:

????????? Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing OR MSN (preferred).

????????? Three to five years in emergency department nursing management, with proven competency in emergency department operations management OR

Two to three years in the same or similar position with another organization with a proven track record.

????????? Excellent oral, written and presentation skills

????????? MS Office a must

????????? Strong accounting/financial management

????????? 50% Travel is required
