Vice President of Patient Care Services/ Chief Nursing Officer

 

Master's Degree in Nursing or related field and a current, valid license as a RN in the state of North Carolina required. Vice President/ executive level experience in an acute care hospital and strong clinical background that demonstrates a working knowledge of processes and outcomes for patient care delivery is required.  Must have experience directing and developing the talents of at least 200 FTEs.  Accountable for overall management, provision and coordination of all patient care, including acute, behavioral health and outpatient services (124 beds, 350 FTEs). Demonstrates excellence in customer service, communication and medical staff relationships.  Serves as the senior leader for clinical services, patient safety and quality.  Responsible for continuous quality improvement through evidence-based practice and research.  Sound critical thinking, analytical skills and ability to lead and inspire clinical staff.  Demonstrated knowledge of organizational finance and budgeting.  Excited to join the senior leadership team of Roanoke-Chowan Hospital and our journey to operational and service excellence.
