APPLICATION SPECIALIST - COMPUTED RADIOGRAPHY (Radiologic Technologist)

JOB TITLE and LOCATION: Clinical Applications Specialist for CR Medical Imaging Devices.  We have an opening in the Boston, MA to Providence, RI corridor.We seek qualified candidates who live in these areas within reasonable commuting distance to a major airport.

ARE YOU AN ARRT CERTIFIED RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST (RT) WITH COMPUTED RADIOGRAPHY (CR) and LEADERSHIP SKILLS WHO IS READY FOR A NEW CHALLENGE?  Are you a teacher and trainer?  Would you love to travel during the week to hospitals to teach and train them in proper use of the equipment?  Note that this is not a sales job.

COMPUTED RADIOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED:CR experience is required and mammo would be a big plus. This company is moving in that direction with new products.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Your role will be to support the digital and conventional imaging equipment, working with hospital clients throughout your assigned territory. You will be heavily involved in, and a valuable member of the CR products division. This will involve approximately 75% travel during the week.  Travel could be from Monday to Thursday evening, or possibly Friday noon, and will usually be regional rather than national.

REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR INTERVIEW: We seek candidates who have ARRT Certification (required), with a BS or equivalent, with 5+ years of solid clinical or application specialist experience, and a very strong knowledge of CR, and a working knowledge of DICOM. A plus would be experience as a PACS Superuser. The person we seek has some hospital management or other leadership roles, or has Application Specialist experience with another Medical Imaging Device company.
