CARDIAC CATH LAB RNS

The Cardiac Cath Lab at Baystate Medical Center is a growing dynamic environment.  As the only interventional lab in Western Massachusetts, we perform over 5,300 procedures annually.  In addition, we are expanding our services and facilities to accommodate interventions for peripheral vascular disease.  We presently have 3 Cath labs, a 4th one is opening shortly. Working closely with the physicians and fellows, the cath lab team of RNs and technicians work collaboratively to provide clinical care to the patient immediately before, during and after the procedure. An individualized orientation with a seasoned preceptor will prepare you to practice confidently in this fast paced environment.  You will learn the latest equipment and techniques, and develop/fine-tune your critical assessment and interventional skills in a collegial environment of support. CARDIAC CATH LAB RNS

Full time ? 12hr shifts between the hours of 6:30am and 7:00pm ? On call required

Seeking experienced RN?s to staff newly constructed pre and post procedure area within the Coronary and Peripheral Catheterization Labs.  Responsible for the immediate preparation of patients entering the labs and their immediate post procedure recovery.  Must be ACLS, and monitor arrhythmia certified.  Knowledge of cardiovascular disease and moderate sedation training a must.  ACLS, dysrhythmia recognition and moderate sedation training required.  Interventional nursing experience preferred.

Minimum one year med/surg experience. Mass RN licensure required.  Arithma certified and ACLS required. Cath Lab experience a plus. Opportunities to learn new and developing technologies in an ever expanding Vascular Interventional field. Expansion and growth potential is outstanding.
