CT/MRI Technologist

Responsibilities:

Responsible for performance of all patient imaging procedures and all patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customer accounts in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Interviews patient and explains MRI and/or CT procedures. Positions patient on examining table and following protocols requested by Radiologist. Enters data such as patient history, anatomical area to be scanned, orientation specified, and position of entry into the computer. Monitors patient safety and comfort and views images of area being scanned on video display screen to ensure quality of pictures.







Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred; 6 months minimum related radiology experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency with most major MRI/CT equipment manufacturer's hardware and software (GE, Siemens, Picker, Phillips/Hitachi) and GE 1.5 experience is preferred.
