Our team oriented cardiac lab is seeking a registered or registry eligible cardiac sonographer to work in an exciting, innovative environment with quality ultrasound and digital processing equipment. The Cardiac Echo Tech will utilize 2-D, M-Mode, and spectral Doppler in the performance of adult transthoracic and transesophogeal echocardiagrams. Applicant must be able to prepare the patient for the exam, select the proper transducer frequency and focal length,recognize the significance of cardiac structures and disease processes, evaluate the scan for quality and completeness before preparing it for physician interpretation as well as correlating history, physical, lab results and other imaging to aid in the diagnosis of cardiac disease. Must be available for manageable on call rotation with multiple sonographers.

Job Requirements:

Requires completion of a two year accredited echocardiography program with a minimum of two years experience preferred. Must be registered or registry eligible. Pediatric/neonatal echo experience a plus.
