EEG Technician/Registered

The Florida Hospital Imaging Department offers advanced diagnostic equipment and the latest technology to better enable our staff to positively interact with patients, physicians and other members of the health care team. Full implementation of Picture Archiving Computer System (PACS) technologies is complete, including the ability to move images to any of our campuses or to referring physician offices via the world wide web. Performs quality EEG recordings by collecting pertinent patient history information, properly preparing the patient according to age, conducting the examination and preparing the recording for the physician interpretation. Demonstrates the knowledge of appropriate activation procedures and identifies when it is proper to use them. Informs the Supervisor, and/or the physician of changes in the patient?s condition or abnormalities on the recording. Maintains supplies and equipment for patient care and maintains an orderly and efficient system for storage and retrieval of patient information. Demonstrates knowledge to archive all studies, be able to copy CD?s and trouble shoot equipment including calling the manufacturer if needed.



Must have one year experience or a recent grad. that has completed EEG training.
