Job Description: Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. Perot Systems is currently looking for a Clinical Systems Analyst to join our team in Palo Alto, CA.

Job Responsibilities:
Perot Systems seeks a Clinical Analyst to provide support for patient care applications. The candidate will be a skilled individual with a strong production support and project implementation background supporting a key client in our Palo Alto, California office. This is a great opportunity for someone to combine their passion for customer support with their experience in a Top 10 nationally ranked hospital providing direct impact on the quality of service we deliver to our client! This person will perform production and implementation support activities for clinical applications, attend key user meetings, and work across the IT organization to ensure delivery to meet customer expectations.

The candidate will ideally be familiar with information technology support of clinical systems environment. Knowledge of workflows, terminology, and operational procedures will be utilized to address on-call situations, create support procedures, and support development process and quality improvement objectives. Previous IT application support knowledge will be needed to resolve or manage incidents and enhancements within service level agreements. This fast paced environment requires the ability to be disciplined to meet commitments, actively participate in team efforts, and be a self-starter.

Required Skills:

2+ years clinical system support

Knowledge of various clincial system building tool sets

On-call application support experience

Strong customer communication skills

Negotiation and influencing skills

Technical skills to include 1)able to create customer SQL queries, 2) understand common HL7 message transactions and its interaction with the application, 3) documentation of IT changes and processes, 4) Build screens, reports, orders in Carecast, 5) analysis skills

Desired Skills:

Self initiator that works collaboratively and able to bring together different working styles to meet objectives.

At least 2 years in Carecast building in Pharmacy, Radiology, or Cardiology, and order set building, Carecast expert rules tool

Team building approach and individual performer approach on complex team environments

Minimum Educational Requirements:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
