Lead Radiologic Technologist - Full Time Night Shift

Great growth opportunity!!  Join our staff and take advantage of our tuition assistance program while attending our hospital?s school for Diagnostic Imaging!  In addition to our General Radiology program, we currently have programs for Mammography, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound.  Starting in the Fall 2006, we will be starting our evening certificate programs for MRI and CT. In addition, our new Pediatric Imaging Center will open in September 2006.

Schedule:  Sunday - Thursday, night shift 12:00am - 8:00am. With some holiday obligation.

The Lead Radiologic Technologist, under the general supervision of Operations manager for Diagnostic Radiology and according to established policies and procedures, oversees and coordinates the work of Radiologic Technologists and support personnel in the performance of a  variety of technical radiologic procedures.  Instructs radiologic students and/or employees in the clinical procedures performed on the unit.  Performs clerical and/or administrative functions as necessary for the efficient operation of the unit, and for patient records.  Regularly performs all functions of a Radiologic Technologist.  Will be responsible for all operations on the evening shift and will work directly with the Section Coordinator for Diagnostic Imaging.

 

Requirements:

2 years formal training in an approved school of radiologic technology.  Member in good standing with ARRT.

Current, valid license (or license eligible) to practice in RI.  2 years progressively increasing responsibility and experience in a hospital Radiology Department with experience in all facets of Diagnostic Imaging.
