Lead Ultrasound Technologist opportunity at Virtua Health in southern New Jersey

Virtua Health is a multi-hospital healthcare system and one of the largest employers in southern New Jersey. With four hospitals, two rehabilitation and nursing centers, outpatient health and surgery centers, home healthcare services, and the William G. Rohrer Center for HealthFitness, Virtua Health employs 7,100 clinical and administrative personnel and 1,800 physicians as medical staff members.

Our Voorhees campus in Camden County, New Jersey currently has a Lead Ultrasound Technologist opportunity for an individual who coordinates all activities of the Ultrasound department. Supervises, directs, administers, schedules and organizes personnel of the Ultrasound Department. Oversees clerical and scheduling functions, performs Ultrasound procedures in accordance with approved techniques and standards and ensures competency of Ultrasound staff. Our Ultrasound department is an ACR accredited department with new GE Logiq 9 machines.

 

The qualified individual must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers with at least 3-5 years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist. Pediatric and vascular experience is preferred; current or previous supervisory experience in Ultrasound is strongly preferred.

**The position is full-time days with minimal call.
