Position Description: Seeking a Mammographer to work in one of the best facilities in the Boston area!

We are seeking a Mammography Technologist for an opportunity with a lot of flexibility. The hours can be 4 10 hour days, or full or part time. Position detects breast tissue abnormalities; greets patients; gains patient cooperation; conducts mammography study; minimizes radiation to patient and staff; maintains production and quality of mammograms; ensures operation of mammography equipment; keeps mammography supplies and patient drapes ready; maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment; documents patient mammogram services; updates job knowledge; enhances organization reputation.


Qualifications:
? Capability to perform routine diagnostic procedures with speed, accuracy, method and understanding theory.
? CRT Mammography Certified & CPR Certified.
? Minimum of one-year experience as a mammography technologist.
? ARRT Certification
? Excellent communication skills.
? Knowledge of the principles of radiation physics, radiographic chemistry, radiographic positioning and radiographic equipment.
? Knowledge of universal precautions, knowledge of the principles of radiation physics, radiographic chemistry, radiographic positioning and radiographic equipment.
