The Manager of Satellite Radiology provides leadership and management of clinical and business operations for the programs located in  Children?s satellite imaging centers; works with Director to oversee the continued growth of imaging  services into the community; provides guidance and direction to staff for the purpose of planning,  organizing, coordinating and controlling activities for the provision of services; and proactively supports the  efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and to promote a safe environment at  Children?s.

 

Qualifications:

 Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited college or university required. Masters degree in a life science, healthcare management or business preferred. Certification/Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Minimum of five (5) years management/supervisory experience in a healthcare environment is required. Experience in implementing, managing and marketing new imaging ventures/business growth opportunities preferred. Mutli-site operational experience and pediatric clinical experience preferred. Ability to assess market potential and financial feasibility for new services, to operationalize new programs, and to improve processes and programs desired. Experience in establishing effective working relationships with radiologists and referring physicians. Coaching and mentoring skills. Requires a broad use of independent judgment and responsibility. Must possess solid financial skills as well as excellent communication, follow-up, organization and interpersonal skills.
