Nuclear Technician
Cardiology Specialists of Orange County has an immediate opening a Nuclear Medicine Technician in their Santa Ana Lab location. We offer a competitive salary with Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K, Pension Profit, Vacation and Sick pay benefits. This is a full time position with some overtime required.
Job Summary:
This position requires performance of cardiac nuclear procedures, including dual isotope myocardial perfusion imaging and MUGA imaging. The position also requires maintenance of equipment, usual periodic QC, documentation for regulatory compliance, ordering of supplies, maintenance of files, and some clerical duties. Service-oriented patient-friendly attitude are essential.
Position Qualifications:
? Education:
q Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine
q BLS required, ACLS preferred
? Experience:
q One to two years experience in Nuclear Medicine setting
q Must have in-depth knowledge of imaging procedures, including myocardial perfusion imaging and MUGA imaging
q Basic EKG
? License / Certification:
q Must have California State License (CNMT)
q Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
