PET Technologist Needed!

Responsibilities:

Operate Positron Emission Tomography equipment to produce images and measure concentrations of Radioactive Isotopes in specific body areas and body products to obtain information for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illnesses. Follows rules and regulations established by the NRC, state licensing agencies as well as the standards set forth by the JCAHO in the proper method of handling Radioactive Isotopes and the provision of quality patient care. It is expected that all the duties and responsibilities of this position be performed in a manner that reflects the values of Alliance Imaging and its clients.







Qualifications:

Must be registered in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or NMTCB. Current CPR certification is required. Experience with a variety of Nuclear Medicine computers and state-of-the-art gamma cameras preferred; experience with mobile imaging systems may be desired.
