The Radiologist Technician IV opening is in our Interventional Radiology Unit of the Medical Imaging Department at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital . The Medical Imaging Department provides timely and accurate inpatient and outpatient radiology services through a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures. These include: radiology, fluoroscopy, tomography, trauma radiology, CT/MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, imaging support for surgery, portable radiology, mammography, and interventional radiology. Your Position

To fulfill this important role as Radiologist Technician IV you'll perform computerized procedures on both inpatients and outpatients. You'll provide effective communication, coordination, and documentation to meet the needs of the patient, family and our multi-disciplinary team. Our Requirements

* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or within 2 months of employment)
* Minimum : Graduate of an ARRT approved Radiologic Technologist program
* Minimum : ARRT registration
* Minimum : Strong demonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and skill in recognition of normal and abnormal variants
* Thorough knowledge of radiation safety
* Preferred: 3 years experience as a staff technologist
* Preferred: Working knowledge and experience with GE High Speed Advantage and GE CTI equipment
* Minimum: 1 year experience as a Radiation Technologist at a large community or urban hospital setting
