Technol Ultrasound

Overview : Shift: On call as needed by the department

Responsibilities :

Required to be registered as an ECHO tech in Adult. Would perfer PEDS experience or PEDS eligable also.

Qualifications :

This position performs cardiac ultrasound diagnostic procedures in addition to all other phases of non-invasive cardiovascular testing in order to aid physicians in diagnosing cardiovascular disease in neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Service excellence is demonstrated by consistently exhibiting the BHA Service Standards in the performance of this job. One year of experience in an acute hospital or clinical setting or graduate from a formal ultrasound program. RDCS eligible. Registered within two years of employment. RDCS for pediatrics where required. RDCS in pediatrics within two years of employment where applicable.
