Ultrasound Supervisor
COMPANY INFO My client, an acute-care hospital, was recently named one of the Top 100 hospitals in ICU?s in the United States by Solucient Leadership Institute. Established over 100 years ago, they have approximately 330 beds and 400 physicians on staff.
The hospital has 6 exam rooms, which provide approximately 900 exams per month. Currently in use is a Phillips IU 22. This radiology lab does not utilize film.
Located in the general Hartford, Connecticut area, FREE PARKING is available, along with a Fitness Center, Tuition Assistance Program and all of the standard benefits.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Ultrasound Supervisor will manage a staff of 7 during the day shift (M-F, 7:30am-4pm) and report to the director of the radiology department. Additionally, they will oversee the daily operations of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, OB/GYN and Doppler studies. As a working supervisor, the Ultrasound Supervisor will be on call once each week and once each 5th weekend, as is everyone else. This position is open due to retirement.
QUALIFICATIONS
ARDMS registered.
Absolutely MUST have had some supervisory experience in preferably the Ultrasound department or at least in the Clinical environment.
