Job Description:

According to established policies and procedures, perform all required diagnostic radiographic procedures with knowledge of all pertinent technical and academic areas to produce consistent high quality examinations.

Requirements:

Associates or Applied Science Degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.

Registered with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).

Must have CPR and Fluoroscopy Certification, and be a CRT.

At least one year of previous work experience as a Rad Tech.

Must be able to conduct bone density studies.

Experience with DEXA, Fluoroscopy and X-Ray equipment is needed.

Knowledge of:

Patient care standards and requirements.

Radiologic technology with specific references to cross-sectional anatomy, medical and

surgical disease, and scientific principles as applied to radiologic procedures.

Quality assurance principles and practices.

Customer service principles and practices.

OSHA principles and practices.

JCAHO standards of practice.

Special Requirements:

OSHA Class 1 exposure to Blood borne Pathogens.
