Alzheimer's Care Director

 

Outstanding opportunity for a dynamic and caring professional as the ALZHEIMER'S CARE DIRECTOR of our Alzheimer's Care Unit in Pell City. In this position you will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the welfare and care of our residents.

 

Responsibilities will include:

*Developing, coordinating, implementing programs and services for our residents with Alzheimer's and related dementias.

*Providing a therapeutic environment that maintains each resident's highest level of physical, social & psychological well-being.

*Education of family, staff and community.

*A key member of the interdisciplinary team.

 

Qualified candidates will possess:

*Advanced degree in related health field highly preferred.

*Demonstrated expertise in Alzheimer's care, including the minimum of 2-5 years direct geriatric care experience.

*Team player with excellent communication skills, demonstrated leadership ability and the desire to make a difference.
