Children?s Bureau currently seek 3 qualified candidates for our Mental Health Program in Baldwin Park, California. The Mental Health Therapists will provide comprehensive mental health services and case management services.  They will conduct initial psychosocial and psycho-diagnostic assessments.  They will develop client service/treatment plans and implement plans in the provision of services.  They will also complete progress notes for each service provided and will complete all required documentation and paperwork in keeping with the Dept. of Mental Health or Children?s Bureau requirements. 

 

Requirements:

 

-Licensed LCSW or MFT or license-eligible MSW Associate or MFT Intern required.

-One year or more previous experience with children and families requiring diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning and crisis intervention, as well as providing the various modalities of therapy preferred.

-Strong oral and written communication skills.

-Creativity and strong commitment to the well-being of children and families.

-Knowledge of L.A. County Department of Mental Health system strongly preferred.

-Bilingual English/Spanish.

-Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.

There are currently 3 positions available.  2 FT positions and 1 PT position.
